My sister-in-law and mother-in-law are throwing a baby shower for me. What is the proper way for me to thank them for hosting this event?

Expressing Gratitude

Hello Maria,

There are many ways to say thank you and only you know what will be correct for your lovely in-laws who are giving you the baby shower. Your mother-in-law will be a grandmother, so perhaps a nice frame in which she can put a photo of the baby would be a thoughtful way of saying thank you. These gifts do not have to be costly, however, they should convey your gratitude because you gave it thought before making the purchase.
