To go or Not to go? That is the question! Lingerie/bridal shower dilemma!


2 days ago I was invited to a Bridal/Lingerie Shower of a friend's daughter which is been hosted by the friend's client who is not the maid of honor. The bride is in her mid 20's and I am in my late 40's. I am a bit conservative as well is it right for me to go to this event?
Please advise ASAP, the shower is this coming Sunday!

I understand your dilemma!


First, it is short very notice notice which breaks the etiquette rules, practical and not. Next, you do not know the bride. Then the host is not the bridesmaid. And finally but also very important, it is an intimate type of shower, lingerie.
