Dear friend of the bride and groom,

Initially, registries were thoughtfully set up as a help guide, not an obligatory gift list. Asking for a gift of any kind is in very poor taste unless you are 5 and talking to Santa. There really should not ever be mandatory gift giving. Select your own item that fits in your budget and give from your heart.
