Prefilled or not?

We are having a semi formal dinner for our fire department and we aren't sure if it is proper to prefill the water and tea glasses or let the guests fill their own.

Seated Dinner?

Hello Barbie~

If this is a seated dinner, then filling water glasses and tea glasses before the guests take their seats is fine. It will be less intrusive to those finding their seats and settling in to the dinner if there is no interruption for glass filling. Of course, you would have to know who wishes to have tea. But every place setting requires a water glass.


Enjoy the occasion. It sounds like a lovely event.
