not offered dessert

by Judi
(New York)

I was at my son's house the other day and my daughter-in-law offered her husband dessert and then ate the last piece herself without offering any to me. I thought this was extremely rude. Am I correct?

Judi,

Yes, that is a good example of bad manners. But, then I am sure you already know that. Shame on her for this slight. I do hope it was just poor training and not just nasty behavior.
