meeting daughter's boyrfriend's parents

If my daughters boyfriend and his parents will be in our area for his college graduation should I invite them to our home so we can meet them or offer to meet them somewhere for a drink?

They live about 2 hrs away from us. My daughter really likes her boyfriends family.

They have been dating for 10 months and are serious.

Hello Jill~

Since you have never met the parents of your daughter's boyfriend, I think it is a good opportunity for you to do so. Perhaps meeting outside your home for a drink and chat would be more comfortable for a first meeting. A public meeting provides a more relaxed environment for all concerned.
