There are no definite etiquette rules the apply to monetary gifts or the value of gifts given. If the christening is for an infant or toddler, please consider your budget and the depth of your relationship with the parents and/or grandparents. When helping to celebrate the baptism of a teen or adult, evaluate your personal relationship with the celebrant. This is a most personal decision. Follow your heart and your budget!
