I was wondering what you do in a situation when somebody hangs the phone up on you while you are still talking. Which approach should you make towards that person

Hello Connie,

Since hanging up the phone without a proper conclusion to the conversation is incredibly rude, I doubt any approach will be helpful. If this is done during normal conversation, not in the midst of an argument, you need to think about the cause, if any. But it is not our job to teach good manners to others.

As you know, a person's behavior reveals volumes about his/her personality and character. Decide if this relationship is worth your time and attention before you invest emotional energy where it won't bring resolution. If you conclude it merits your close attention, discuss your feelings with the hanger upper!
