Graduation Ceremony Attendees

I am completing my Master's Degree in a school that is 5 hours from where my husband, kids and I live (online program). The school happens to be in the hometown of my husband's family (parents, sister, brother, aunts, grandparents, etc). Would it be proper etiquette for someone from his family to attend the ceremony?
