How to properly ask co-workers for contributions for another co-workers whose father passed away. used for . Funeral is taken care of. Money is to be given to individual to use how ever.

Dear Susan~

I must admit, I have not considered this situation before now.

The answer will depend upon the circumstances and who is organizing the collection. Is the relative of the deceased in trouble financially? Does this person approve of the collection? For what purpose is the money to used?

As you can see, the only way you can begin this project is to know exactly what you are doing and why you are doing it before you begin asking co-workers for money.
