Combo Birthday invite

I am having a combo birthday for my two girls ages will be 3 and 6. My 6 yr old is in school now and will have her own friends at the party however, some of her friends know and love my 3yr old.I do not want people feeling like they are obligated to bring a gift for either one let alone both!!

Dear Brittany,

You can always suggest on the invitation or in person that you do not want anyone feeling obligated to bring gifts. Those who want to give one or both children a gift will bring gifts for one or both. Just be straightforward and polite. Your guests will appreciate that.
