College graduation anouncements if short 3 credits of graduation?

My daughter is 3 credits short of receiving her diploma and will take an on-line course to complete her colleg degree. She has ordered announcements and can go through the commencement if she wants. Is is appropriate for her to send out the dated announcements and not discuss that she will be taking an online course before actually finishing?

What an interesting question! On the face of it, the situation seems complicated. However, if the school is allowing her to take part in the commencement, then I think it is just fine to send out the same announcement as the other graduates. No need to mention the missing credits.
