christmas gift for siblings girlfriends?

My husband's brother has been dating a girl for a couple months. Are we obligated to buy her a gift for Christmas? His sister has been dating her girlfriend for longer but still less than a year. Same question here.

Gift for Sibling's Girlfriend

Dear Sibs~

If this is a family gathering where most folks will be exchanging gifts, then giving the respective girlfriends a token gift is good manners. If the gift giving is not happening in a group or in front of other family members, then a personal card wishing them a happy holiday is fine.
