Bridal Shower Invitation

I wish to invite a married couple to a bridal shower, as well as their 25 year old son who lives with his mom and dad. Does the son receive a separate shower invitation or does his name appear on the invitation addressed to his mother & father?

Dear Mrs Fowler:

The son should receive his own invitation because he is an adult. The only time it is appropriate to send one invitation for an entire family is when it includes minor children.
