Hi,

Just wondering if it is a social faux par to take (as my plus one) my sisters ex boyfriend to her current boyfriends birthday event ( a movie and drinks).

Please help, as not wanting to offend anyone.

Well, Jason, this is certainly a unique situation, isn't it? A bit like a soap opera in fact! But most thought provoking.
The appropriateness of this maneuver rests upon the relationships existing among the four of you. If everyone is comfortable with one another, then taking your sister's former boyfriend to her new boyfriend's birthday party is fine. If you feel anyone will be stressed by this, do not do it.
